refTSS Use-cases
The use-case contains two categories demonstrating how to utilize refTSS in the biological research.
1. Collecting TSS information
- Surveillance of potential candidates for the promoter and proximal cis-element of the gene of interest.
- Investigating differences in expression levels between splicing variants using the FANTOM5 TSS expression table.
2. Bioinformatics analysis using refTSS
- TSS differential analysis using refTSS
- Enrichment analyses: GWAS-LD enrichment analysis and standard annotation enrichment analysis using external enrichment tools (e.g., GO annotation and KEGG pathway).
