This semantic template provides a simple way to simultaneously annotate a page with the property surface area and display its value in a standardized scientific notation.

Usage: this takes two parameters, the value of the area and the power of 10 for it, for example {{Surface area|6.088|18}}

It assumes the value is in square meters.
